Keep The Love Alive E-Course
Did you know that 2/3rds of all couples with a new baby will experience a significant dip in their relationship satisfaction in the first 1-2 years after they bring home the baby? This is even true when it’s not the first baby!
Thankfully, there are tools you can use that are known (through research) to turn that around.
As a psychologist for nearly 20 years, an educator for Gottman’s Bringing Baby Home (BBH) program and a parent of 2 myself, I can help teach you how to keep the love alive in your relationship instead of slipping into that satisfaction dip.
Among the topics you will learn are:
- How the transition to parent changes your roles, your availability and even what you value.
- How to be a team in parenting instead of an over-controlling mama bear or a distant dad.
- How to maintain appreciation and fondness in your relationship
- The importance of a good sex life & how to keep it going after kids
- The importance of active dads and how to honor them
- Managing conflict successfully
- Understanding what your baby is communicating
Most Bringing Baby Home programs require in-person participation (IF there’s an educator near you) and are generally 2 long days (i.e., 6 hours each) in a classroom. I’ve found this can sometimes be challenging when you’re in your third trimester or have a newborn (or other children) to manage.
I’ve taken my BBH training, added to it, and crafted a program you can participate in from the comfort of your own home and at your own convenience. Keep the Love Alive is an e-course consisting of 12 modules delivered to your inbox. You can choose to complete a module a week or work at your own faster pace if you prefer.
You will be given exercises to do as a couple to deepen your learning and implementation of the material. With the inclusion of your mailing address at registration, you will also receive a physical copy of the study book and decks of couple cards.
